A great CD from Celtic Woman. I do miss True Colors on this CD. I really wanted to be able to listen to it in the car, but eh, what are you gonna do. As I said in my DVD review, I'm not sure it's the BEST show to date from the girls, but it's fabulous nonetheless, and I've played this CD many, many times in the car! I do think, personally, that this will be the best LIVE show ever, and I think this will be my favorite CW concert experience. I mean, how can Nil S'en La NOT be amazing live?
There are a few songs I don't care for, "Galway Bay," for example, but nevertheless I love most of the songs! "Nil S'en La" is my favorite, and "Fields of Gold" as well.
So, what's good about the DELUXE CD: The Deluxe CD comes with two extra songs: "The Call" and the "Mo Ghile Mear" finale, both live! Good stuff. The CD also comes with a calendar and a heart charm. The calendar is kind of interesting, because it's a series of 18 cards, one for each month (18 month calendar). I'm not really sure how I'm going to display it, but the cards are great quality and contain very pretty photos from the Powerscourt concert. The charm is small but it's very cute and I plan to put it on my keychain.
I think every CW fan is going to want to pick up the Deluxe version of this CD, simply for the calendar and the charm. The extra live tracks aren't bad either! ;)

What more can you say about Celtic Woman? They are all beautiful, talented women who sing like angels. Their voices are beautiful separately and blend together perfectly. They also have class to go with their beauty, they are a breath of fresh air when one compares them to the Britneys or Lady Gagas of today's show business. As stated by others, this deluxe CD includes live versions of "The Call" and the finale, seen on the DVD of this concert. It also includes Alex's "You'll Be In My Heart," not seen on the DVD. The calendar that it comes with features some very nice pictures from the show.
I had the pleasure of meeting all the members of Celtic Woman in person last Wednesday night at Borders Books in New York City. They are as sweet and as beautiful in person as they are on the DVDs. I was so excited at meeting them, especially Lisa (my favorite) that I have almost completely blacked out on what I said to them. They seemed truly happy to meet their fans. Now I am looking forward to seeing them Feb. 27th at Radio City Music Hall.
What more can I say? They are truly fantasic and I highly recommend this CD and DVD (as well as their others, especially the Slane Castle concert.)

I have a hard time deciding which Celtic Woman collection is my favorite because I genuinely enjoy them all, even the Chistmas CD which I listen to regardless of the season. But, this performance at Powerscourt House and Gardens has blown me away. I watched nearly every performance on PBS back in December so I readily pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition CD during the holidays. As I anticipated the arrival of Songs From the Heart CD I realized that I really missed seeing the performance and decided at the last minute to order the DVD as well and they both came on Friday!
I'm no musician nor do I sing all that well but I know what God given talent sounds like and these ladies have IT. As they like to say on American Idol, these ladies can sing the phone book and I'd feel inspired, uplifted, and blessed to have had the oportunity to experiance their angelic voices! From my perspective, I have nothing negative to report. I would buy this CD again, as well as all of the other Celtic Women CD's. I'm a die-hard fan in the deep south USA! Hopefully these ladies will enjoy a long career and continue to bless us with their gift of song. Rest assured, I'll keep buying it.

Celtic Woman never ceases to amaze me with their beautiful harmonious voices and lively music. The added bonus song "O America" brings tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat.

It looks as if this new hit from Celtic Woman has debuted at the top of the World BillBoard charts and appears destined to repeat another of their record-breaking runs there as experienced by their earlier releases. If you were among the millions of Americans who saw the broadcasts of Songs From The Heart from among the thousands of broadcasts from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (PBS) stations across the nation, you should know this is the music from that show. Celtic Woman is presently at the start of a nationwide tour in which performance of these numbers may be seen live.
If you liked their prior releases, such as A New Journey filmed in 2006 at Slane Castle in Ireland, you will certainly love this! Filmed at the castle at Powerscourt, County Wicklow, Ireland in July 2009, it has all the elements we have come to the love of the group, created under the direction of the group's creator and musical director, David Downes, whom many regard as a genius from the body of his work thus far and his many fantastic accomplishments, which appear far beyond what one would normally expect of one of his years.
If you care at all about this group and their music, you will certainly want to get it and having done so, will rue that you waited so long to do so!
